Funeral services for Sara Louise LaBorde, 79, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 31, 2026, at First Methodist Church in Monroe, with Sr. Pastor, Brian Mercer officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the church.

Mrs. LaBorde was born on April 26, 1946, in Cleveland, OH, and passed away January 22, 2026, in Monroe, LA. She retired as an Administrative Law Judge for the Department of Labor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Devon LaBorde; son, Louis Joseph LaBorde II; and brother, Douglas Leporati.

Survivors include her children, Eric LaBorde (Christie), Leigh Ann LaBorde; brother, Louis “Bo” Leporati (Ginger); grandchildren, Tori Lee LaBorde, Valorie Brooke LaBorde, and Ashley Gill; 12 great grandchildren, Megan Haynes, Amber Haynes, Donavan Wayne Beddingfield, Jaycen Lee Allen, Zachary Shows, and Joshua Shows.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
