Ms. Linton was born on January 14, 1957, in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away at her residence on April 16, 2026.

She was known for her servant heart and for always placing the needs of others above her own. A tireless worker, she did whatever was necessary to provide for her family. Rough, rugged, and fearless, she never backed down from life’s challenges. She endured many trials throughout her life, both personal and physical, yet she was never broken by them. No hardship could crush her spirit. Her strength, resilience, and determination were evident to everyone who knew her.

Sarah was full of personality and completely unafraid to have fun, never carrying a trace of embarrassment when it came to bringing joy to others. She loved making people laugh and was known for stepping into playful characters, including her unforgettable “bag lady,” to liven up parties and create lasting memories. She lived boldly, joyfully, and with a spirit of adventure, often saying, “Try everything once.”

Above all, her faith in Jesus was the foundation beneath her life. When storms came and trials pressed in, and others wondered how they would make it through, she would simply say, “We just have to trust in the Lord.” That steady faith carried her through life’s hardships and became part of the legacy she leaves behind.

She is preceded in death by her father, Carson Linton; former spouse, Tony Cappo Sr.; and stepchildren, Robert Jeffery Cappo and Nanette Wise

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved children, Carson Cappo (Mary), Callie Creighton (Brenton); mother, Olleal Linton; stepchildren, Anthony Cappo Jr. and Timothy Cappo Sr.; siblings, Malissa Patterson (Heber), Doyle Linton (Jan), and Mitch Linton; as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, loved ones, and friends.

The pallbearers will be her son, Carson Cappo, her son-in-law, Brenton Creighton, as well as her grandsons, Micah Cappo, Noah Cappo, Jonah Cappo & Cruz Creighton
