Mrs. Shirley A. Hassler, 78, of West Monroe, Louisiana was born on January 14th, 1948, in San Antonio, Texas and passed away on February 16th, 2026, surrounded by her beloved family.

Shirley was a beloved mother and devoted wife whose life was defined by kindness, loyalty, and an unwavering dedication to her family. She gave her time freely, standing beside her loved ones through every joy and every challenge, always offering comfort, strength, and a steady presence.

She greeted the world with a smile quite literally as a door greeter at Walmart, where her cheerful hello became a bright spot in the day for countless customers. Her warmth was genuine, her joy contagious, and her kindness unforgettable.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles M. Hassler; and daughter, Mary Elizabeth Hassler.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her daughters, Sherry A. Hartsell and Angela D. Tolleson (Bo); son, Charles J. Hassler; grandchildren, Kaitlyn D. Tolleson, Gordon W. Tolleson, and Madelyn A. Tolleson; along with many other friends and loved ones.
