Sonya Darlene Coleman

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date for Sonya Darlene Prince Coleman who passed into her rest on April 24, 2025, after her battle with cancer. Sonya was born on June 13, 1963 to Fred Ellis and Allie Lou Coats Prince in West Monroe, LA.

Sonya was a drafter at RSH Engineering and Ford, Bacon, and Davis. She later went on to work at Landmark Nursing Home where she was a wonderful caregiver who was loved by so many residents for her kindness. Sonya was also an animal lover and could not turn away a stray, especially cats. Sonya loved Jesus.

She is preceded in death by both parents. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Danielle Jade Coleman Griggs; uncle and aunt, Eddie and Debbie Purvis; dear friends, Tracy Roy, Tim Coleman, and Hope Martin.
