Stacy died November 13, 2023, at St. Francis Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

Stacy was a faithful member of the Family Church in West Monroe.  She had also graduated from Claiborne Christian School in 1995, which is a long-time ministry of Family Church. As a graduating senior at CCS, Stacy was honored as the senior most exemplifying “Christian Character”, the coveted award that was voted on by the faculty and staff.

With her love of working with people, Stacy began her working career in retail and managed the children’s department in J.C. Penney’s. She later attended Unitech Training Academy, where she received her diploma in phlebotomy and immediately began as a phlebotomist at the Franklin Parish Hospital. Stacy is probably remembered most from her last employment working at the Walgreens on Wells Road.

Stacy was preceded in death by her father, Wesley Ray McManus and her stepfather, Donald Allen Blair. Also, preceding Stacy’s death are her beloved grandparents.  Her paternal grandparents were Ray and Audrey McManus and her maternal grandparents, Reverend B.F. and Alma Kirksey.    Stacy was also preceded in death by her beloved Uncle David, the Reverend David Diamond.

Stacy is survived by her devoted mother, Judy Kirksey Blair; her stepbrother, Adam Blair and wife, Stephanie of Newport Beach, CA; and her half-sister, Jennie McManus Dawsey and husband, Cory of Ruston, LA and their children, Stacy’s nieces, Eden Lane, Everly Rae and Emmy Kay. Stacy was dearly loved by all her surviving aunts and uncles which include Bill and Grace Kirksey of West Monroe, LA, Diane Kirksey Diamond of Baton Rouge, LA, L.J. and Brenda Kirksey Franz of New Orleans, LA, Sandra McManus Parker of Winnsboro, LA and Susan McManus Britt of Gilbert, LA. Stacy is survived by a host of adoring cousins that she grew up with.

There are also those treasured relationships in life, that one decides that they are “family” although there is no blood relation.  This narrative would be incomplete without mentioning “Ms. Carolyn” who faithfully fulfilled an honorary grandmother role to Stacy during her time of sickness.  Therefore, let it be declared that Stacy is survived by her honorary grandparents: Carolyn and Ronnie Cupit of Monroe.

Pallbearers for Stacy’s service will be Don Richey, Mike Ritchie, Jerry Howell, Dwain Sutton, Gary Fryer and Jason Hinton.
