Sundee was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and an unwavering devotion to her family. She was born to loving parents, Gerald Griggs and Ginger Brothers. Sundee grew up with a feisty spirit and a heart full of compassion. In her youth, she was known for her determination on the softball field and her kindness to those who were often overlooked. Her beauty was both inside and out, and she touched all who knew her.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her husband, Tommy Bolton; children, Chase Gonzales and wife, Britney and Jade Meador and husband, Landon; parents, Gerald Griggs and Ginger Brothers; grandchildren; Beau Gonzales, Ruth Meador, and Malachi Meador; sister, Apryl Guillory and husband, Zachary; stepchildren, Luke Bolton and Erica Hijar; niece, Fayth Piwonka; and nephew, Kory Briley; as well as many dear loved ones who will treasure her memory.
She was a tried-and-true Saints fan, Sundee cheered passionately for her team, carrying that same steadfast spirit into every part of her life. At the heart of who she was, Sundee loved Jesus and longed to follow him with all she had even when the path wasn’t always clear, her heart was set on him.
Sundee’s life was marked by perseverance through adversity and a fierce love for her children. She was very sentimental, with a love for travel and a tender heart that always put her family first. To know her was to know someone who cared deeply, gave freely, and loved without hesitation.
The pallbearers will be Landon Meador, Luke Bolton, Samer Mahgoub, Kenneth Wayne Griggs, Jay Rigal, Chad Rigal, Jody Gonzales, and Trace Mayo.
