Funeral Services for Susan Coates, 71, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, April 10, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Joe Rosales officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA. Visitation will be held from 8:30 A.M. until service time on Monday.

Susan Coates was born January 23, 1952 and passed away April 7, 2023. She had a passion for helping others and was a registered nurse for over 31 years. Mrs. Coates recently worked for Prime Star Home Health. She was a beloved sister, mother, and grandmother who will be missed dearly.

Survivors include her daughter, Julie Coates; grandchildren, Leann Watson and Bryanna Watson; sister, Angela Statham Malmay; and ex-husband, Chris Coates.

Pallbearers will be Trey Williams, Eli Clampit, Troy Shows, Nick Shows, Caleb Hemphill, and Ernest Finch.
