Velma 'June' Mae Lockhart Patton

Funeral services for Velma “June” Mae Lockhart Patton, 88, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 19, 2015, in the chapel at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Larry O’Dell, Rev. Betty Swanson, Rev. Joe Solomon, and Rev. Johnny Hankins officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery.Mrs. Patton passed away Monday, February 16, 2015, at St. Joseph Nursing Home. Early in her life she moved to Corpus Christi, TX, and worked in the airplane plant during the war. Mrs. Patton was a member of Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church and was a devoted wife and mother.Mrs. Patton was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Isaac Patton; grandson, William Richardson; and five siblings.Survivors include her children, Linda Patton Easterling and husband Bobbie Layne, Tommy Dawson Patton and wife Lyndall Fulton; grandchildren, Kimberly Lyn Sanford and husband Mark, Heather June Richardson and husband Kevin, Angela Patton; and great grandchildren, Caleb Sepulvado, and Ashley Kerry; sister, Mary Lockhart; brother, Hayward Lockhart.Pallbearers will be Gene Waalk, Earl Price, Chris Fulton, Tanner Fulton, Caleb Sepulvado, and Hugh Riley.Visitation will be 10:00 AM until service time Thursday at the funeral home.Online Registry/Condolences: www.mulhearnfuneralhome.comMulhearn Funeral HomeSterlington RoadMonroe, LA
