Memorial service for Ms. Victoria Saundra Byrd, 68, of Monroe, LA, will be held at a later date. Ms. Byrd was born on August 31, 1953, in Columbus, Ms, and left us to dance with the angels on January 14, 2022, in Monroe.
Ms. Byrd was a graduate of Lee/Caldwell High School in Columbus, MS, and worked at and retired from the University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. The things she loved most in life were her family, friends, photography, and music. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Jones; mother, Margaret W. Jones; daughter, Lisa Marie Moore; and sister, Kathy Jones.
Survivors include her love and lifelong partner, John Moore, Jr.; daughter and best friend, Kimberly Knight; grandsons, Dalton Knight and fiancé, Taylor Gilliand and Maguire Knight; nephew, Timothy Tyler, and nieces, Amy Tyler and Melissa Jones.
In lieu of flowers the family requests support of the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
