Virginia Ann Schoolfield

Funeral Services for Mrs. Virginia Schoolfield, 85, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 10, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until service time on Monday.

Mrs. Schoolfield was born March 18, 1937, and passed away April 5, 2023. She loved to travel, especially going to the beach. She loved to go gambling but most of all she loved her grandkids and her dog Cookie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alan and Rose Trichell; three sisters, Estelle Hodge, Alice Saxton, and Bobbie Trichell; brother, Paul Trichell and wife Wanda; granddaughter, Crystal Woods; and great granddaughter, Amity River Cantrell.

Survivors include her partner of 20+ years, Wilbert McVay; her children, Rachel Pylant McClain and husband Junior, Chip Woods and wife Debbie, Diane Trim and husband Allen, Shelia Withers and husband Mike, George Woods and wife Wanda, Allison Rankin, and Kayla Lewis and husband Jason; grandchildren, Chipper Woods, Jason Rowe, Brandy Rowe, Misty Woods, AJ Trim, Shane Withers, Daniel Woods, Gage Woods, Brad Woods, Develin Allen, and Matt Ferrelli; 20 great grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Phelps and husband Carl and Dorothy Matheson Hogg; brother, Allen Trichell, Jr. and wife Pauline; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Cole McNair, Randy McNair, Chipper Woods, AJ Trim, Develin Allen, Brad Woods, JR Woods, and Allen Trim.
