Mr. Clark was born on June 28, 1946, in Monroe, LA, and passed away on March 30, 2026, in Sterlington, LA.
Ronnie was a third-generation bricklayer. Evidence of his craftsmanship can be seen all over the Monroe area.
Ronnie’s most cherished memories were during his days at Neville High School in Monroe, where he played football under famed coaches Charlie Brown, Chick Childress and Bill Ruple. He was a member of the championship team for Neville in 1961 and 1962. He was awarded the Most Versatile Player award. In addition, he held the record at Neville at 13’ 10” for the pole vault.
His favorite pastimes were hunting for deer and duck, golf and fishing. He had been a member of Davis Island Hunting Club and Duck Pond Hunting Club.
When he was not hunting, fishing or playing golf, he loved spending time with his wife Kay and being at his home on Bayou Bartholomew. He spent countless hours in the “outdoor kitchen”, with his pet squirrel and precious dog Lucy, watching the Golf Channel.
He was a born-again Christian with a strong faith in Jesus.
Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Fay Clark; and great grandson, Travis Mayhall.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Clark; children, Paul Clark and wife Kaye and Linda Russell; Richie Seaton and wife Chrissie; Jeremy Seaton and wife Alicia; grandchildren, Bridgit Murphy and husband Wade, Chelsea Higginbotham and husband Tyler, Sawyer Mayhall and wife Dina, Lacie Shelton and husband Logan, Kaleb Clark and wife Melanie, Cody Clark, Alec Seaton, Tristin Seaton, and Tripp Seaton; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Murphy, Tristin Mayhall, Jack Higginbotham, Carter Higginbotham, Tilly Mayhall, Collins Clark, and Annie Clark; and sister, Diane Crowe.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation to St. Jude’s Hospital in Memphis be made in Ronnie’s memory.
