Graveside services for Mr. William D. Sawyer, Sr., 84, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 1:30 PM Sunday, December 30, 2007, at Siloam Springs Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bill Strawbridge officiating. Services are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Sawyer passed away Friday, December 28, 2007, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. He was co-founder of Sawyer Industrial Plastics retiring after thirty years of service. Mr. Sawyer was a graduate of Ouachita Parish High School. He was a WWII 13th Air Force veteran serving in the South Pacific as a Bombardier.
Survivors include his son, Bill Sawyer, Jr. and wife Debbie; daughters, Heidi Sawyer-Clark and husband Kevin, and Becky Savage and husband Keith; grandchildren, Michael Sawyer and wife Amy, Brad Sawyer and wife Anna, and Jennifer Sawyer; great-granddaughter, Claire; and great-grandson, Connor.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Cancer Foundation.
