William Earl Dear, Sr.

A Celebration of Life for Mr. William Earl Dear, Sr., 77, of Monroe, LA, will be held at a later date.

Mr. Dear was born February 3, 1945 and passed away on March 21, 2024 He was a member of the Baptist faith. Mr. Dear worked for over 38years at Ouachita Fertilizer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Lucy Cannon Dear; and his wife, Linda Dale Dear.

Survivors include his two sons, William Earl Dear Jr and wife Miki of Decatur, MS, Michael Dear and wife Sherri of Lexington Park, MD; seven grandchildren, Gabriella Chase and Simon Dear of Sidney, NY; Ethan Dear, Noah Dear, and Rowan Dear of Lexington Park, MD; Emma Dear and Cayden Dear of Decatur, MS; one great grandchild, Charolette Chase of Sidney, NY; sister, Dianne Womble of Tahlequah, OK; as well as numerous niece, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
